Dr. Dordal received both his AB and MS degrees in Mathematics from the the University of Chicago and his PhD in Mathematics from Harvard University. He joined the Loyola faculty upon graduation from Harvard. Later, Dr. Dordal spent a year as a visiting faculty member in the Mathematics Department of the University of Arizona.
His research interests include set theory, mathematical logic, the theory of programming languages, and computer networks. Dr. Dordal's research in mathematics has appeared in leading journals, including the Annals of Pure and Applied Logic and the Journal of Symbolic Logic.
